Who we are

What we collect
When you request a quote we may ask for your name, phone number, email address (on our contact page), property postcode, the type of work you need, whether the property is domestic or commercial, and (optionally) any message you add and whether you would prefer us to contact you on WhatsApp. We do not ask for payment card details or other special-category data through this site.
How we use your information
We use your details to respond to your enquiry and provide a quote. If you opt in to WhatsApp, we may use your phone number to message you there. The lawful bases we rely on are your consent (given when you submit a form or accept optional cookies) and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services. We do not use your details for unrelated marketing, and we never sell or rent your information.
Who we share it with
Form submissions are processed by Netlify, our website host, who handle submissions securely on our behalf. If you contact us on WhatsApp, that conversation is also subject to WhatsApp’s own privacy terms. If you accept optional cookies, limited usage data may be processed by Google (fonts and, if enabled, analytics). We only share your information where we are legally required to do so.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details only as long as needed to deal with your request and for our legitimate business records, after which they are securely deleted. Form submissions stored by Netlify are retained in line with their platform settings (typically up to 90 days on standard plans). If you would like your details removed sooner, email us at info@yorkshirehydrosolutions.co.uk.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@yorkshirehydrosolutions.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
